Award-winning Design
Good design will be, and has been, at the core of Infracare Partners’ approach and thinking. This was demonstrated in previous projects led by the founders. Awards included RICS South West Award for Community Benefit and LIFT Award for Design. This approach is now being taken into new projects by partnering with leading edge design practices in the field of smart hospitals and smart health infrastructure.

Decarbonising Healthcare and Aviation
The heritage of the founders in Healthcare and Aviation has led to to the Infracare focus on decarbonising these environments while maintaining resilience and contributing to energy security. These are each significant markets in their own right and the approach to their decarbonisation requires funding and delivery at scale and at pace, which Infracare is able to offer.

Townlands Community Hospital
In the 2010s, Infracare founder Richard Darch was responsible for the commercial structuring of an innovative project at Townlands Community Hospital in Henley-on-Thames, using surrounding land to create value through development. South Bristol Community Hospital
Infracare believes that Smart Hospital thinking will lead to the development of a new type of community acute hospital to include imaging, day surgery and urgent care. An early example of this thinking was demonstrated in South Bristol Community Hospital, a £50m project in 2004 (worth £100m today) led by one of the founders.

Neighbourhood Health Centres
The Founders of Infracare Partners have a heritage in the funding, design and delivery of healthcare infrastructure, particularly in Neighbourhood Health. Having been involved in the NHS LIFT programme in the early 2000s as Principals, there is a track record of delivering hundreds of £millions of new health infrastructure that has brought healthcare closer to where people live and putting it at the centre of communities.
